You can access loans via loan apps.
FlashPesa loan Apps are available for download on Google Playstore and Apple store.
If you don’t have a smartphone or active internet, you can access Zenka – the alternative mobile loan by dialing the USSD code *841# on your phone and following the prompts.
Loan Process.
The minimum loan amount you can get from this app is Ksh 2000 while the maximum amount is Ksh 50,000.
How to borrow a loan.
To borrow a loan from FlashPesa, you must have the following;
- National ID.
- Smartphone.
- A Safaricom registered number with Mpesa to receive and pay back your loan.
To get a loan by smartphone users;
- Download the Application from Google Play Store or Apple Store.
- Fill the application form with the relevant information.
- Once approved, you will receive the money on your M-Pesa number.
How to get a loan from FlashPesa by Feature Phone (kabambe) or non-smartphone users;
This is still not possible but you can get an alternative loan – Zenka by dialing *841# on your phone.
How fast can you get a loan?
Once approved, you will have the loan sent to your M-Pesa number instantly.
How to pay back your loan.
There are two ways to clear your loan;
You can pay back via Mpesa, using FlashPesa pay bill number 911280 and your phone number as your M-Pesa account number.
Or you can opt to pay through the FlashPesa app.
Loan terms and conditions.
- Service fee: One-time fee From 150 Ksh – 600 Ksh.
- Loan terms: From 61 days to 180 days.
- FlashPesa APR ranges from 20% to 36%.
- Loan request: Need to be at least 22 years old and in employment.
