Mpost which means mobile post office is a service by Posta Kenya which enables you to use your phone number as a formal postal address. With Mpost, you get access to Postal Services through your mobile phone.

Why Should You Use this service?

For Convenience – You will receive a text message on your phone when a mail is received at the post office. Better yet, Posta Kenya can deliver your mail to your house, office or wherever you ask at an additional cost.

For Security –  If you have used a school address, a church address or your workplace’ address to receive letters then you might want to attest to the fact that there is no privacy and the security of your mail is not guaranteed.

As a matter of fact, your mail may sometimes get lost. Mpost solves this problem by guaranteeing security of all your mail.

It is affordable – This service only costs Ksh. 300 per year. Ain’t it affordable?

Application for a Post Office Box | How to Register for Mpost 

1. Dial *890*90#
2. You will be redirected to a mobile page with new registration, physical address linkage, request for mail dispatch and change postal code options.
3. Choose option 1 to register
4. Enter your ID number
5. Enter your preferred postal code
6. Enter Agent’s number or agents phone number. If not applicable press 0 to continue
7. Pay Ksh. 300 for Mpost to Postal Corporation of Kenya to be registered

Should that payment fail for whatever reason, use Mpost paybill number 506500 – account number (your mobile number.
