I have at one point earned a little over $3,000 blogging in Kenya. And it didn’t take much effort. I used affiliate marketing which by the way is also free if you want to start.

To start a blog in 2024, you will need the following:

How long will it take you to make money blogging?

This depends on the niche you choose, your traffic source, and the monetization methods you go for. I made my first $57 during my first week of blogging.

2). Affiliate Marketing.

Have I already mentioned that I made over $3,000 in one day of blogging? Perhaps what I didn’t mention is, that I achieved these results through affiliate marketing.

Affiliate marketing is selling other people’s stuff in exchange for a commission.

It’s one of the easiest ways to make money online because it doesn’t require you to create a product, and there are thousands of companies with affiliate programs that you can join.

The best part is, you don’t need a website or blog to start affiliate marketing. But in my case, I already had lots of content ideas so I started my affiliate marketing business with blogging just from the word go.

It didn’t take a week before I earned my first commission for $57. Three years down the line, I have earned a little over Ksh. 8,000,000 with affiliate marketing with only one platform. Kingfin.

And of course, my list of genuine ways to make money online can not be complete without talking about trading considering that this is one method I have recently used to earn $800 plus in a record 2 minutes.

You simply buy low and sell high, making a profit in the process.
