A Step by Step Guide for Verifying an Expert Option Account.

It is not enough to only Register or Create an account with Expert Option. You need to go a step further and have your Expert Option account verified.

Verification of your account will only be available after your First Deposit.

What is Verification?

Verification is a simple one-time review of your documents necessary for institutions to comply with AML (anti-money laundering) and KYC (know your customers) policy.

In our case, Expert Option reviews specific documents which we will list below.

Documents required for verification.

The documents you provide vary depending on your deposit method.

If you deposit using VISA or MasterCard (Credit or Debit bank cards), you provide the following documents;

• A colored photo of a primary valid ID or Passport which shows your full name.
• A photo of the bank card (Front side of your card used for deposit with visible first six and last four digits, with your name and expiry date).

If you deposit using an e-wallet, Cryptocurrency, Online Banking or Mobile Payment, you only send one document.

• A colored photo of a primary valid ID or Passport which shows your full name.

As you provide the documents, note that;

• Photos must be of high quality.
• The entire document should be visible.
• No photocopies or scans are accepted.

After providing such documents to Expert Option, all the verification process will last about 10 working days.

Rejected documents.

I want to now bring about a different issue. Do you think that your verification documents can be rejected by Expert Option?

If you do not, then be sure that they can actually be rejected.

Here are some reasons why your verification documents may be rejected.

• The poor photo quality of a document – Take good quality photos of your documents. Sometimes you may take a photo that will give someone difficulties obtaining information from. Whether reading or observing a picture of something or someone from the document. Capture the entire document and do not send photocopies.
• Providing the wrong/incorrect documents – Provide the very document you have been asked for. Uploading your Utility bill while being asked for your ID/Passport will lead to rejection of the document.
• Providing documents belonging to someone else – Be honest and provide your own details.
• Not being of legal age – In Expert Option, you are not allowed to operate unless you are 18 years of age and above. Take note.

Yes!! Your Expert Option account must be verified.

These are some of the reasons why you will need to verify your Expert Option account;

• Know Your Customer Protocol of Expert Option requires you to.
• To be able to Open a Real account.
• To be able to Withdraw Money from Expert Option.
• Terms and Conditions of Expert Option require you to.
• To allow Expert Option to confirm the accuracy and completeness of the information you gave during registration.

Steps to Verify the Expert Option account.

Before you begin, take clear and quality photos of your ID or Passport and the Front side of your bank card. Store them in a storage location you can trace on your device. You will need to upload them from your device storage later in this verification process.

Verify your Expert Option account in the following steps.

1. Email address Verification.

Once you register, you receive an email from Expert Option asking you to confirm your email address. That is where verification begins.

You select the email, read the details, and hit the Confirm button. The link loads and leads you to a window saying Your email successfully confirmed.

Your email address is now confirmed. The next thing is to go back to the trading platform.

2. Log in to your Expert Option account.

You will enter your email address and password to log in. Once you log in, you will need to make your first deposit.

3. Make your first deposit.

Take note of the method you use to deposit funds.

5. Personal information Verification.

Because it is your first deposit, a pop up will appear, asking you to confirm your personal data.

That will be the second stage of verification. You will enter your full names, last name, country, address, and Phone number. Do not leave that tab.

6. Phone number Verification.

You will enter your phone number while entering your personal information in the Personal information verification.

After filling your phone number, hit the Send SMS button to verify your Phone number. An SMS will be sent to your phone number.

Proceed to enter the code sent to your phone number to the field reading code from SMS. After that hit the Verify info button next to the field you entered the SMS code.

A pop up will appear reading Payment successful and your deposit will reflect on your Expert Option Real account.

7. Hit the Menu button.
8. Select the Profile option from the Menu
9. Note the various options available on the Profile interface – Personal info, Assets Chart, Verification, Trade Journal, and Trading Volume.
10. Choose the Verification option by hitting the Verify info button linked to the option.

Depending on the payment method you used, fields to upload documents will appear.

If you used a debit or credit bank card, two fields will appear.

One to upload your ID or Passport and another to upload your Bank Card. If you used other methods of payments like e-wallets and mobile payments, only one field will appear. A field to upload your ID or Passport.

11. ID or Passport Verification.

To upload your ID or Passport, hit the ID field, and select your ID or Passport photo from your gallery or the storage location you saved them.

12. Bank Card Verification.

To upload your Bankcard, hit the Bank Card field, and select your bank card photo from your gallery or the storage location you saved them.

13. City, Street, and Zipcode Verification.

It is on the same tab where you will also be required to enter your City, Street address, and Zipcode. After that, hit the Save changes button below the information you have entered.

Having uploaded and sent all the documents required, you can now begin trading. Wait for up to 10 working days for your account to be verified.
