Imagine a simple system that allows you to make money with your phone, sometimes by working for a few hours and sometimes by not even working at all.
Would you hop on it to make easy money?
That’s the internet.
The internet is that simple system that will allow you to make money easily either by working remotely, browsing, watching videos, clicking on ads, answering questions, or just giving your opinion.
Think of it for a second. None of the gigs, hustles, or online ways to make money that we have mentioned above require you to have a degree and neither do they confine you to a specific location to be able to make money.
And what does that mean?
These may just be the easiest ways to make money in Kenya that you will ever find on the internet.
How to Make Money Easily in Kenya.
- Affiliate marketing.
- Answering questions online.
- Make money with Telegram.
- Make money with Wattpad.
- Earn to create content on TikTok.
- Make money with Whatsapp business.
- Launch your YouTube channel.
- Online Trading.
I have said this time and again and I will repeat it.
Blogging is the easiest way to make money online in Kenya. But that’s only true if you are a passionate writer willing to put in the time required to blog.
While it is easy to make 1M shillings or more in a day blogging, it is also very easy not to ever make anything with your blog.
It all boils down to the quality of your content and how consistent you are at churning out good content.
Can you spend at least half of your free time blogging?
Then this is perhaps the easiest way you will make enough money to build your dream house and to buy your dream car in under 1 year.
2, Affiliate Marketing.
Affiliate marketing goes hand in hand with blogging.
If you are new to this concept, affiliate marketing is the process of promoting another person’s or company’s products for a reward in the form of a commission.
Most affiliate companies will pay you a commission ranging from 3% of their profit to 60%.
And sometimes, you can also get an affiliate product that guarantees lifetime payment as soon as your referral remains an active subscriber or buyer.
Did I already mention that blogging and affiliate marketing are easy to marry?
If you have a blog and you have signed up for an affiliate partnership of your choice, go ahead and promote those affiliate links on your site.
Remember, blogging traffic + affiliate marketing = money.
If you do not want to use affiliate marketing to monetize your blog or website, consider setting up Adsense to make money on your blogging traffic.
While Adsense guarantees you continuous consistent payments, you can not rely on it fully. Especially if you have low traffic on your blog and you want to make a living serving ads.
If you ask me what to do at this point, I’ll say mix AdSense with affiliate marketing.
Otherwise, Adsense income is still one of the easiest incomes you will ever earn on the face of the earth.
4. Answering questions online.
Did you know that you can also make money easily in Kenya by just answering simple questions online?
How, did you ask?
Just download and use either of these mobile apps to find out how answering questions for pay works.
It’s as simple as saying, “My name is Kenn… My birthday is on the 25th of August…
5. Make money with Telegram.
Speaking of apps, Telegram is another app that you can use to easily make money in Kenya.
You just need to find a topic that so many people are so excited about and leverage it to make money online.
For example, you could be good at sports betting.
Create a Telegram channel for betting and invite as many people as possible to join.
When the time is right introduce a service that can make you money. For example, you can make money easily by selling sports betting tips.
6. Make money with Wattpad.
For fiction and non-fiction writers, you can also now make money by adding ads to your Wattpad stories.
Note though that this will only be possible if you are verified and have books in the pay-to-read section.
Otherwise, you can also make money easily on Wattpad by publishing Wattpad Books, through the Wattpad studios, via Wattpad Brand Partnerships, and Wattpad Paid Stories.
7. Earn to create content on TikTok.
Unknown to many creators, established brands can also pay you to create content for TikTok.
And it is not just some small money, you will be paid well.
Personally, I have earned 100K twice to create content on TikTok and 50K once for a 1-minute video.
In other instances, I have also been gifted 40K worth of phones just to create a few videos.
8. Make money with Whatsapp business.
Another way to make money in Kenya is through the WhatsApp business app.
With its new features, you can now add products to your portfolio and sell directly to your contacts.
If this does not work for you, consider adding photos of whatever product you are selling – together with links to where to make payments to make money.
9. Launch your Youtube channel.
If you have a topic or topics that you’d like to discuss with people.
Be it politics, gender violence, entertainment, gossip… you name it.
Consider creating a YouTube channel to discuss those topics.
Once you meet the threshold for joining the YouTube partners program, grab the chance to begin making money on YouTube.
Remember though to be consistent with your channel if you want to make money on Youtube.
10. Online Trading.
Trading is the process of forecasting the future movement of assets.
If your prediction is correct at the expiry of your trade then you will earn money for your efforts.
Trading platforms like Olymp Trade, Binomo, and IQ option have mobile trading apps that you can use to earn as much as Kshs. 3,000 in a day if you begin trading with $10.
