If you are looking for a way to make money trading on the iq option app, I bet you have a rather slight idea of what it is.
But just in case you’ve forgotten, IQ Option is essentially an online trading platform that allows you to trade quite a variety of financial assets.

How to register on the IQ Options App

And since we will be using the mobile app, the first step is to download the IQ Option app.

Alternatively, head over to this link https://iqoption.com/en/download and you can find all the download links you want.
Once you’ve downloaded the app, open it and create an account by providing your personal information.
Just click Sign Up (if you already don’t have an account.)
Next, choose your country from the drop-down list. Remember, the IQ Options isn’t available in most countries, and that’s why you need to pick a country of permanent residence.
Next, type in your email address.
I’d suggest making sure this is a valid email address because this will be the primary communication channel between you and the platform.
Not to mention, you will be required to verify this email before you can start using the trading platform.
Choose a password.
And if you can’t think of any, there are a ton of free password generators out there. Get one but save the password somewhere safe for future use.
To complete the IQ Option free account creation, tick the TC box (of course read them) and then click Open an Account for Free!
Alternatively, if you don’t want to follow the whole password and email process, you can use either your Facebook account or your Gmail account.
Personally, I would use Gmail.
It saves me the hustle of remembering some random and long passwords.

IQ Option Login
Now that you have your account, the next step is to log into your IQ Option account.
So, open your mobile app and click login.
If you used an email and password, type each in their respective fields and click login.
But if you use Facebook or Gmail, just click Log in with Google (or look for Google icon).
Just in case you forgot your password, click ‘Forgot Password’ and follow the instructions to reset it.
Immediately after you log in, you will be asked to pick your trading experience level.
If you’ve traded digital contracts (binary options) before, choose experienced. But if you are new, go ahead with the beginner option.

And ready to make money trading on the IQ Options app.
But before that, understand your way around the interface; otherwise, it is easy to get overwhelmed.
So let’s get started.
First, this is what the IQ Option trading platform looks like.
Let me show you around real quick…
First, choose an asset you wish to trade here.
Then, this chart shows how the price of an asset changes in real time.
Your goal is to predict whether the price chart is going to go up or down.
Next, how much you invest will determine the outcome of your trade.
As an example, let’s set your investment at $100!
Next, select the time when you want your trade to be closed automatically.
It will show up on the chart as a red line.
This is the potential profit you will make if your prediction is correct.
Finally, click the higher button if you think the price chart will go up and the lower button if it will go down.
So this is what happens.
If after the trade expiration, you are right, you get the promised potential profit,
In our case, we make $90.
But if you are wrong and the market goes sideways, you only lose your invested capital.
In our case, does the $100 we invested and not your entire account size make sense?
And that’s essentially how to make money trading on the IQ Option app. It doesn’t get more complex than that.
What to do before trading on the IQ Option app
But wait, there’s more.
There are some things you need to take care of before you start making money trading on IQ Option app.
The first one is to change the type of trading chart.
To do that, click on the wave symbol below your mobile screen.
Click on the Candles.
And your trading chart should change to something like the one below.
Next, do some analysis before trading.
The last thing you want to do is act without knowing what to do.
Luckily, IQ Option gives you access to chart analysis tools.
Use these tools to understand what is going on and to make an informed trading decision.
Another tool you should use in your IQ Option Trading app is market analysis.
You can find it on your left sidebar on the mobile app.
It gives you a snapshot of what’s going on in the news. This should help you understand what might drive up or down the price of some assets.
Use this knowledge to time your trades and increase your chances of making money trading on the IQ Option app.
Fund your IQ Option account
There are two types of accounts inside the IQ Option trading platform:
Demo account – you need this to practice your craft.
Live trading account – you need this account to make real money trading on the IQ Options app.
Most pros advise that you should continue using your demo account as long as you can. At least until you are comfortable with your trading skills.
Then and only then, you can move to the big boys league and trade real money.
I say real money because a demo account uses virtual money that you can replenish when you blow it😁.
To start trading on the live account, you need to make a deposit.
To do that, find the deposit button inside your account.
It should look like the one below.
Next, pick your payment method.
As of now, you can deposit funds to IQ Option using any of the following methods:
Visa/Mastercard
MPESA
Perfect Money
Skrill
Neteller
Advcash
The minimum deposit is $10 for all of the above methods, so pick one and proceed.
To trade, follow these steps:
Pick an asset.
Choose the amount you’d wish to invest
Set the duration. This is how long you want the trade to last
Decide whether the price will be higher or lower after the expiry. If you think it’s going to be higher, click Higher (green button). But if after analysis you predict the price will be lower, click Lower (red button)
