Internet penetration in Kenya has made the country a haven of online opportunities, and one of the fastest-growing industries, accelerated by the high internet speeds in the country, is the forex industry. Through Forex, we have seen lots of self-proclaimed millionaires. And my question today for this post is, are these young millionaires the richest Forex traders in Kenya? Or, are there other successful Forex traders in Kenya we don’t know of?
And, if it is not true that they all made their money trading Forex, how else did they make their money in the industry?

Raymond Omosa, popularly known as Kenyan Price, is arguably a rich Forex trader in Kenya with an unknown net worth.
In most of his TikTok videos, the Kenyan prince flaunts money, expensive phones, cars, and huge trading account balances. But, if not Forex, how does Kenya Prince make his money?

In one of his interviews with Oga Obinna, the Kenyan prince revealed himself to be a Forex scammer on Telegram. He sells fake bots and fake Forex signals. But it’s all in the Forex industry, right?
How much is Raymond Omosa worth?
In a recent interview on 2Mbilli TV, 2Mbilli asked the Kenyan Prince this question, and this is how he replied, “I am a millionaire; that is a fact. I don’t have a network, but I can dress well, eat what I want, and travel to whatever destination I want.”

Esther Mofray started as a Forex Youtuber in Kenya, doing content for her trading journey, analyzing the markets, and teaching people different trading strategies.
She later moved to TikTok, where she created a fast and loyal following, allowing her to launch her Forex trading classes massively in 2023.

Esther is synonymous with using Bible quotes to market her Forex classes and sharing huge Forex successes on TikTok.
My favorite line of hers is, “Guys, today I won 280K.”
But other than trading, how else does Esther make her money in the Forex industry?

Google that name, and you will immediately see the company she is associated with: Sylvia’s Traders Lounge. That’s her Forex company.
Other things that you might see upfront on the Google results are her educational background; she has a bachelor’s degree in finance, from Kenyatta University, and she is self-taught at BabyPips.

It could be anything from sh. 10,000,000 to sh. 100,000,000. She hasn’t come out to tell us the exact figures yet.

Bonaventure Kebati (Director Trevor) & Mungai Eve
This might come as a surprise to many, being that this duo was not known for Forex trading even during the time that they were together, but yes, they also made millions in Forex in Kenya.
In a recent interview with the Iko Nini Podcast, Director Trever mentioned them making at least Ksh. 3,000,000 with the Forex Firm Hot Forex Markets per month, at their peak.
They achieved all these Forex successes by placing HFM affiliate links on their YouTube videos and other social media platforms.

According to WHO OWNS KENYA, a Kenyan blog looking at the wealth of Kenyans of value, Sammy Boy makes Ksh. 500,000 daily in forex.
But is it only forex trading that makes him money?
No. On his website, Sammy Boy has listed different bots trading from Ksh. 10,000 to Ksh. 15,000. He also sells Forex eBooks and makes money off his YouTube and Instagram channels.
If you ask me, Sammy Boy could be well worth over Ksh. 50,000,000, but this is just an estimate. The figure could be more; all his assets were liquidated and added.

Patrick Mahinge did not study any of the top university courses synonymous with Forex trading but he is now a household name in the Kenyan forex industry.
After studying journalism at Egerton University and achieving a lower-division degree, Patrick tried to have a life in journalism but failed.

Forex has created very many millionaires in Kenya, but not everyone you will see talking or writing about Forex online is a trader.
