Like Olymp Trade, Quotex offers trading on various assets like Forex (currency pairs), stocks, commodities (gold, oil, etc.), and cryptocurrencies.

This means that you won’t miss something to cash in on.

If you are into crypto, Quotex has your back. And the beauty of this is that you only need to make money on the asset’s price movement.

You don’t have to worry about buying and holding the assets.

b). Demo Account

This is something common in this industry, an environment to hone your trading skills.

When you sign up on Quotex, you get access to a demo account where you can practice trading with virtual funds before risking real money.

In fact, you get $10,000 of free money (virtual cash).

You can then try test trading strategies using this virtual cash. When you deplete it, just click replenish, and your account is back!

The only sad part of this rather fun part of Quotex is the fact that you can’t actually withdraw the virtual money.

How To Make Money Trading On The Quotex App

Before you can make money on the Quotex app, you need an account.

So, once you download the app, go ahead and create an account, it is free!

But in this guide, I will give you a tour using the desktop version. Don’t worry, the desktop and mobile apps look the same.

So, to get started, go to https://qxbroker.com/en/sign-up/ to create an account.

First, pick your country of residence.

This reminds me that Quotex is available in most countries worldwide, but it is not available in the USA, Canada, Indonesia, Hong Kong, EEA countries, or Russia. 

Some other countries may have restrictions as well. Quotex is available in all countries of South America, Africa, and most Asian countries. 

The company holds a regulation by the International Financial Market Relations Regulation Center members and is certified by them. 

However, Quotex is not regulated at the state level.

So, first check if your country of residence is supported on Quotex to avoid disappointments.

Once you’ve set the country, set the country also.

Then followed by your email and password.

If you don’t wish to do that, you can use either your Facebook or Google account to sign up.

Once you are done, go ahead and log into your account.

Quotex Trading Platform

When you log in, this is what you will see.

It might not be like this exactly, that’s because I have customized mine a little by changing from area chart to Japanese candlesticks.

At the center of it all is the chart area. This is where you can visualize the asset market movements.

A – Use this section to navigate the platform. You can go to your account, get analytics, trade, and even get Quotex trading signals from this section.

B – use this section to pick the asset to trade.

As mentioned earlier, Quotex gives you access to a ton of assets to trade.

The small percentage next to an asset is the profit rate. And it can go up to 95%!

C – from this section you can also switch from your demo account to live account where you can make real money. Also, deposit and make a withdrawal request here.

D – use this section to define the terms and conditions for a trade. Essentially, they help buy or sell an asset.

E – view your trade history here. Both currently open and closed trades will appear here.

How to place your first trade on Quotex

Now that you are acquainted with the platform, let me show you how to place your first trade.

First, pick an asset.

It can be crypto, currencies, commodities or even stock, it doesn’t really matter.

What really matters is you pick something you understand very well.

For this tutorial, we’ll be trading the EUR/JPY currency. 

As you can see, it currently has a 90% profit rate, which means I stand to make 90% profit from my investment.

Next, set a trade duration and the amount you wish to invest.

The duration you set matters a lot. Set too short and your prediction might come later, set too high and you might miss out!

What I always do is set the trade duration to 2X the chart timeframe.

So, if I am looking at a 1-minute chart, like I am now, the trade duration would be 2 minutes.

Next, click up if you think the price of the asset will be higher after the duration or down if you think it will be lower.

For me, I clicked up and 2 minutes later, this is the result.

How to deposit funds on Quotex

The only way to make real money on Quotex is to use the Live account. And you can’t use it if you haven’t funded it!

Here’s a breakdown of how to deposit funds on Quotex.

Quotex Deposit Methods

Quotex offers several deposit methods, which may vary slightly depending on your location:

• Credit/Debit Cards: Usually Visa and Mastercard.
• E-wallets: Options like Skrill, Neteller, Perfect Money, WebMoney, MPESA, etc.
• Cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and others.
• Bank transfers: Availability depends on your country.

Steps to Deposit on Quotex

Log in: Access your Quotex account.

Deposit Section: Find the “Deposit” button or section, typically prominently displayed.

Select your preferred deposit method from the available options.

Specify the amount you want to deposit (remembering the minimum deposit amount which is usually around $10).

Provide the necessary details based on your chosen payment method (card details, e-wallet information, etc.).

And follow any on-screen instructions and confirm your deposit.

Before you do that, here are some things you need to know:

After winning, how do you cash out on Quotex?

Let me take you through that.

• Choose Method: Select the withdrawal method you wish to use. It’s important to note that you often need to withdraw via the same method you used for depositing.

How long does it take to receive funds after withdrawing from quotex?

Well, it can take between a few minutes to up to three days, depending on the chosen withdrawal method. 

See, withdrawal requests are usually processed within three business days, and the withdrawal procedure generally takes between one to five days. 

From my experience, cryptocurrency withdrawals are typically instant, while bank transfers can take longer, ranging from a few hours to several business days. 

Fortunately, Quotex does not impose withdrawal fees, but payment systems may charge fees ranging from 1-5% on transfers. 

The minimum withdrawal amount is $10 for most payment methods, while cryptocurrencies require a minimum of $50 (with higher minimums for specific currencies). 

Large withdrawals may require identity verification, and Quotex may ask for verification for sizable withdrawals, but unfortunately, I couldn’t fine the exact threshold specified on their website. 

What I would advise you, though, is to complete the account verification process before initiating a withdrawal.
